After working at some of Wall Street’s largest firms for over a decade, Emily started her own financial planning practice. Through navigating her own journey of risks and challenges, Emily saw firsthand how powerful it is to have someone in your corner, someone who listens and takes the time to get to know you. That’s what she does—provides personalized strategies, meaningful connection, and ongoing support to help you move forward with confidence in your life’s goals and financial journey. Emily is passionate about financial literacy and enjoys coaching families and small business owners to better understand their relationship with money. She regularly runs financial workshops for local nonprofits, helping teens, young adults, and entrepreneurs set themselves up for success.

Outside of financial planning, Emily owns a wedding and event venue with her husband on their five-acre farm in Miami. You will often find her switching through reading three different genres of books at once, salsa dancing, and road-tripping with her family.

ALYSEA SAMENSKI

Alysea Samenski has been helping families with their retirement needs for over 6 years by helping clients navigate through the onboarding process with care and precision. She’s known for attention to detail, and client-first approach, she brings both expertise and heart to her work. Alysea is passionate about creating a seamless experience for each client she works with.

Outside of the office, Alysea loves spending time with her husband their three children – you can usually find them enjoying a sunny day at beach soaking up the Florida sunshine or making new family memories together.

FRANK PAGANO

With over a decade of experience in digital marketing, Frank has had the privilege of crafting innovative media strategies and managing full-funnel campaigns from inception to optimization. His focus has always been on exceeding client KPIs, driving measurable business growth, and delivering results that matter. Whether it’s boosting brand visibility or converting leads into loyal customers, he thrives on turning data-driven insights into actionable plans that propel success.

Throughout his career, Frank has spearheaded major paid media initiatives for renowned brands like Lenovo, T-Mobile, Walmart, and Farmers’ Almanac, along with a wide array of clients across B2B and B2C sectors. He champions a holistic full-funnel approach: starting with awareness-building to capture attention, moving into user education to foster engagement, and culminating in personalized conversions. By harnessing cutting-edge technologies—such as large language models—Frank tailors content to individual users or accounts at the precise moment they’re ready to act, ensuring relevance and efficiency in every campaign.

As a people-first manager, he prioritizes mentorship and relationship-building. He has a special affinity for autumn—its crisp air, vibrant colors, and sense of renewal—and loves escaping to the mountains for hiking and reflection, where the serenity recharges my creativity for the fast-paced digital world.

KATIE COON

Katie Coon has more than 6 years of experience in the financial industry, and more than 10 years of experience in customer service. Specializing in seamless client experiences, she thrives on guiding clients through smooth transitions, ensuring they feel confident and supported from day one.

Outside of the office, Katie enjoys capturing special moments for people through photography, enjoying the outdoors by foot or roller-skates, and her many, many houseplants.

MEAGHAN MALY

At MDRN Capital, Meaghan oversees client coordination and communication, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the tax and estate planning process. She guides clients through document submissions, engagement letters, intake forms, and scheduling with third-party partners. Her role focuses on delivering clear and timely updates, maintaining MDRN Capital’s brand voice, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. Meaghan also manages ongoing follow-ups with clients, advisors, and external professionals to support the efficient and accurate completion of all deliverables.

Outside of work, Meaghan is kept on her toes by her puppy, who loves walks and games of fetch. In her free time, you’ll often find her binge-watching TV shows, baking something sweet, or indulging in a bit of shopping.

MARISSA BRINK

Marissa brings nearly two decades of experience working in the financial services industry. Providing executive administrative support to Aaron, she is also the first point of contact for clients for updating accounts, account transfers, moving monies, and account maintenance.

Marissa is graduate of Crown College, where she studied business administration and Christian studies. She also obtained her MBA in finance from Capella University. Over the years, she has worked for independent brokerage firms, providing support to clients, as well in corporate asset management; specifically fixed income, working with institutional clients.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and family. As a former collegiate soccer player, she continues to play for fun and enjoys working out. She is also involved in her church.

CAIT DIMMIG

Cait serves as the Marketing Operations and Automations Lead, where she is essential to ensuring marketing campaigns flow properly and efficiently. Her primary focus is on the creation and continuous management of complex ActiveCampaign journeys and marketing workflows, optimizing content delivery to provide maximum relevance to our audience. She is also responsible for maintaining MDRN Capital’s full Mar Tech stack and developing landing pages.

With nearly eight years of experience, three of which were dedicated to the financial industry, Cait is a proven specialist in demand generation and improving collaboration between marketing and sales to drive conversion and pipeline growth. Cait earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Evangel University, double-majoring in Management and Marketing.

Outside of work, Cait enjoys running and attending group workout classes, playing piano and singing at her church, and spending time with friends and family. Also, as a lover of travel, she and her husband are currently on a mission to visit every state in the US.

DANIELA LILENG

Daniela is a Marketing Specialist at MDRN Capital, where she supports a wide range of marketing initiatives, from content creation and digital campaigns to branding and social media management.

Daniela graduated from Texas Christian University in 2023 with a degree in Strategic Communication. Before joining MDRN Capital, she gained valuable experience at CBIZ, where she contributed to marketing and communications efforts that elevated brand presence and engaged key audiences.

In her free time, Daniela enjoys traveling and discovering diverse cultures and landscapes. She finds inspiration in connecting with new people, uncovering fresh perspectives, and applying that curiosity to her work.

MARGARET TATE-ROACH

Margaret leads the development and execution of brand strategy to elevate the firm’s presence and build a trusted, retiree-first identity. With almost a decade of professional experience, including more than five years in the financial services industry, Margaret brings a unique blend of strategic insight and creative vision to every project.

Margaret began her career as a graphic designer, gaining hands-on experience across the full creative spectrum—digital, print, production design, animation, and motion design. This diverse foundation shaped her belief that the most successful design is simple, seamless, and woven naturally into everyday life, often unnoticed yet essential in creating balance and clarity in the market.

She is experienced in B2B marketing and internal communications, developing campaigns and brand assets that engage audiences, strengthen trust, and drive growth. At MDRN Capital, her focus is on building the brand to its fullest potential and ensuring that the firm consistently champions the needs of retirees.

Outside of work, Margaret finds joy in painting and exploring new creative outlets. She also loves making fun coffee/espresso drinks and cherishes spending quality time with friends and family.

AARON TYBURSKI

Unlike most financial advisors, Aaron did not have an in-person mentor at the outset of his career. In hindsight, that seeming misfortune turned out to be one of his greatest professional blessings as it necessitated that he become a self-taught self-starter. Although he graduated summa cum laude from the University at Albany with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, his education, which continues today, began in earnest later in 2015. It was then that his morning routine was modified such that he was on the living room couch at 5 a.m. each day with a book and a cup of coffee. What initially felt like a desperate race to improve his own financial condition morphed over time into a love for and fascination with macroeconomics, portfolio management, financial planning, and the ability to positively impact the lives of others.

Within three years of reading his first finance book, Benjamin Graham’s The Intelligent Investor, he was leading the investment committee and serving as the sole Portfolio Manager for a Maryland-based advisory firm with more than $500 million in client assets. The lessons he learned have been enduring: handle clients’ money with the same care as you would your own; there is no substitute for hard work; there is intrinsic value in the continuous accumulation of knowledge; and it feels good to do something you love!

He also discovered that reading, while foundational, is no substitute for experience. He now leverages his experience and proficiency in macroeconomic analysis, portfolio construction, risk management, and behavioral coaching in the service of achieving positive long-term outcomes for his clients.

He married his wife, Samantha, in May 2024, and moved to Bozeman, MT before year’s end. Outside of the office, Aaron enjoys staying active and taking advantage of Montana’s topographical wonders, reading (a lot), traveling, and frequenting Bozeman’s comedy scene.

DANIEL SAYLOR

Dan is a passionate and dedicated servant leader. He served in the United States Navy for five years as an Aircrew Rescue Swimmer, flying in H-60 helicopters. The Rescue Swimmer Motto is “So Others May Live”. Dan takes this motto with him as he serves his clients and helps them better understand their unique financial picture so that, together, they can craft a retirement plan that is customized to meet their goals in retirement.

After his military service, Dan completed his bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership at Chapman University in Southern California and later moved to Colorado to pursue and complete his master’s degree in business administration. Dan’s career as a financial advisor began with a foundation at New York Life and then Fidelity Investments. After honing his planning skills, Dan partnered with MDRN Capital, where he continues to help others realize their goals and dreams in retirement.

In his free time, Dan enjoys all that the mountains of Colorado offers. You might find him out camping or hiking with family and friends or out fishing on the lake. He also enjoys snowboarding during the winter and gold prospecting during the summer.

PATRICK QUIGLEY

Patrick Quigley is a dedicated financial advisor who has helped hundreds of families retire with confidence through personalized, detail-driven planning. TANNER MATHIS

Born and raised in Louisiana, Tanner attended the University of Mississippi where he earned a bachelor’s degree and played for 4 years on the Ole Miss baseball team, finishing in the top 10 of the record books for several offensive categories. Following a successful college career, Tanner was drafted by the Houston Astros and played for 3 seasons in their organization.

Following his retirement from professional baseball, he became a financial advisor with Edward Jones in 2015 in Germantown, TN. He then relocated to the DFW area in Texas, where he now calls home. For over a decade, Tanner has managed assets for HNW and UHNW clients nationwide. He lives by the mantra of “making retirement make sense” for his clients and understands that each client has a unique set of needs.

Tanner and his wife, Lacy, have 3 young children that always keep them busy: Jaxon, Wittyn, and Evie. Outside of the office, Tanner enjoys spending time with family, coaching his kids in baseball, hunting, fishing, enjoying a round of golf, hanging out at the lake, or attending church at Life Fellowship, where he and his family are members.

AUSTIN THARP

Austin Tharp is a financial advisor with a decade of experience helping high income earners, retirees, and business owners take control of their financial lives with clarity and confidence. At MDRN Capital, Austin brings a modern relationship first approach to wealth management by focusing on personalized strategies, long term planning, and transparent advice.

Before joining MDRN Capital, Austin spent nine years at Aventail Wealth Management as a partner where he built a reputation for simplifying complex financial topics and becoming a trusted advisor to his clients. His work is driven by a passion for making financial planning approachable, actionable, and tailored to real life. Austin is based in Central Florida and actively serves the community through both his professional work and nonprofit involvement. When he is not working with clients, he enjoys photography, exploring Florida architecture, and spending time with his fiancée and their two kids.

DAVID SNYDER J.D., CLU®

David Snyder, Vice President of Retirement Planning, is a Financial Advisor with over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, which followed a ten-year law practice in various fields. David specializes in the area of providing financial security planning and retirement planning to individuals and their families. David also has extensive knowledge in life and disability insurance planning for individuals and businesses.

Along with his law degree (J.D.), David has a Chartered Life Underwriter (C.L.U.) designation from the American College, and also holds a Series 65 License from FINRA.

David lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife, Jennifer. They have two grown sons living their best lives in Brooklyn, NY and Chicago, IL. David enjoys exercise, watching almost any sport, reading and traveling with his wife.

TONY BAGNESCHI, CFP® RICP™

Tony has over 20 years of experience as a financial advisor and holds various prominent designations in the financial services industry. He completed his master’s degree from Central Michigan University and managed over 100 million in client assets prior to joining MDRN Capital. His passion is helping retirees and pre-retirees coordinate their financial resources so they can enjoy the kind of retirement they deserve and have worked so hard for. To accomplish this Tony believes education around things that will have the highest impact is the key to unlocking the door to success.

When growing up Tony’s father was an educator and his mother a caretaker. He has found these two traits that he learned from both of his parents to be quite helpful in his daily activities as a Financial Planner. Tony and his spouse, Leslie, have two daughters, a dog named Molly, and two cats named Buddy and Rosie that keep them on their toes every day. He is a sports enthusiast and has tried every golf aid known to mankind and swears someday he will be a better golfer.

JAKE PELTIER

Jake is a dedicated Financial Advisor who helps his clients not only get to retirement, but through it. ANDREW ZUCH

Andrew Zuch is a retirement income specialist working to help both retirees and pre-retirees secure their financial futures. He focuses primarily on retirement income planning, wealth accumulation and family legacy planning.

Andrew has worked in the real estate investment, litigation finance, and wealth management industries since 1995. In addition to his role on the financial advisory team at MDRN Capital, Andrew has extensive experience in multi-family and other investment real estate, managing his portfolio of investment properties for nearly three decades. During his prior business career as an entrepreneur, Andrew successfully founded, scaled, and sold several companies in multiple industries, ultimately leading him to wealth management, where he helps others plan for their future, and grow and protect their assets.

Andrew graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He and his family reside in West Chester, PA and Fenwick Island, DE.

When not working, Andrew enjoys spending time at the beach with his family, and playing poker. He and his wife, Tiffany, have been happily married since 1997 and have two beautiful children. Both are active supporting several charitable causes benefiting veterans, animals, and food-insecure families. Andrew also serves as the Accounting Warden at his church and chairs its Finance Committee.

“Tyler Szczecina is a dedicated professional with a diverse background and a passion for helping others. He served in the U.S. Army for eight years, mainly in a special operations unit within the prestigious 75th Ranger Regiment. He completed four combat deployments there and honed his leadership and strategic skills. During and after his military service, Tyler pursued a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Norwich University, focusing on financial services management.

Tyler’s career as a financial advisor began in Georgia, where he provided expert financial guidance to active military service members, veterans, and federal employees. His commitment to family led him to relocate to the west suburbs of Chicago, where his wife and now two daughters can enjoy time with their grandparents and cousins. MIKE LOVELL

Michael’s path from military service to the financial industry gives him a unique perspective. After dedicating eight years to the United States Army, he discovered a newfound passion for finance.

During his military tenure, Michael found joy in sharing his knowledge of investing and financial literacy with fellow service members.

Michael spent twelve years specializing in banking, investments, and high-net-worth planning before joining MDRN. Each client brought a unique financial puzzle, and he relished the opportunity to guide them through their individual journeys.

When he steps away from the office, you’ll find him immersed in family life. His wife and three children are his anchors. Together, they enjoy the great outdoors. Cooking as a family, boating on sunny days, and exploring new destinations are some of their favorite activities. Michael’s individual passions include snowboarding the slopes, honing his woodworking skills, and tending to his property.

Michael and his family currently enjoy residing in the beauty of West Michigan.

JEREMY JONES

Jeremy Jones enjoys working through the details of his clients’ financial picture and mapping out a worry-free future that is based on sound advice and a proven process developed by the founders of MDRN Capital.

He has worked in finance in a range of capacities over the last 13 years. He was a Senior Financial Services Officer for a local credit union in North Carolina where he helped the membership with personal and mortgage lending, professional tax preparation services, financial planning, and estate planning. Before working in finance, he and his wife owned and operated a Mathnasium math tutoring franchise for 5 years.

Jeremy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Averett University in Danville, VA with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He finished at the top of his class with the highest GPA in the business school.

He has been married to his wife Ingrid for 20 years, has four children, and lives in Greensboro, NC. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, creating Google spreadsheets for almost everything, and watching professional sports.

RYAN GRAY

Ryan Gray specializes in helping individuals prepare and navigate the complexity of their retirement. He strives to ensure clients have the resources needed to make informed financially sound decisions throughout their lifetime. Ryan has spent his career advising families, physicians, small business owners, and retirees with investment, insurance, and retirement planning.

Ryan started his Financial Advising career after graduating from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He spent the first six years of his career at MassMutual before partnering with MDRN Capital. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys baseball, golf, Cycling, and spending time on the water fishing.

JOSH JOHNSON

Growing up in an investment office, Josh Johnson was interested in investing and financial planning from a young age. He had the opportunity to learn from his parents about sound financial planning from the start of his career. He loves creating plans tailored to clients’ goals and helping people transition to the next step of their financial lives.

Josh understands that retirement planning is not only critical but can also be overwhelming as people need their savings to last their whole lives without jeopardizing their lifestyle. He focuses on the individual needs, wants and dreams to find a quality solution that is straightforward and helps put retirees at ease about their financial future.

Josh is a 2010 graduate of Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois, where he studied business administration. He began his career with Wells Fargo Advisors as a financial advisor and worked with a team that managed $13 billion in assets, collaborating with some of the brightest minds in finance. He then took a role as VP of Investments with Regions Investment Services and now is partnering with MDRN Capital as a financial advisor bringing strategy and planning solutions directly to clients.

Josh was born and raised in Centralia, Illinois, and spent quite a bit of time in California throughout his childhood. Josh was a four-sport athlete in college and plays competitive golf to this day. He is also very big into fitness, boating, church, and catching days down at the beach or local tiki bar as he now resides in Florida.

MATTHEW IDOUX, CFP

Matthew is a CFP® professional financial advisor. This allows him to confidently implement the strategies at MDRN Capital to ensure the retirement success of his clients. As a fiduciary, Matthew is focused on finding the most efficient solutions to implement a holistic plan while simultaneously allowing his client to feel comfortable along the way knowing he has their best interests in mind.

Matthew is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where he studied Economics and Finance. He started his career at Bank of America as a personal banker in 2013, and quickly moved to Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor in early 2015. He was eventually promoted to lead a team overseeing the management $145 million in assets before making the move to MDRN Capital.

Matthew was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois, and now lives in Saint Louis Missouri with his fiancée, Lily, and his son, Ethan. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, golf, weight training, and playing frisbee with his dog.

WILL CIRKSENA

You need to have a plan that addresses both risk and, specifically, when and where your income in retirement is going to come from that doesn’t leave things fully exposed to market volatility.”

Will and Aaron both saw similar concerns for their family in retirement until they decided to help their parents put a plan in place that would protect their assets and provide them the income they needed in retirement.

Will graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 2003, where he studied business administration. He then joined the corporate world, starting out by learning how to run and operate his own business. From there, he established the importance of what you do today only goes so far, but planning for the future is that much more impactful. He then moved on to manage clients of all spectrums that truly enabled him to understand how not every person’s financial positioning and goals can be planned the same. From there, he decided to join forces with his brother, Aaron, to provide independent financial services, with the goal of leaving nothing at risk for their clients.

Will lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife Ursula and their three dogs, Bodhi, Behr, and Maui, with whom they love spending all their time. Together, their hobbies include traveling to new destinations, hiking, cycling and home projects. Favorite places they have been to include the British Virgin Islands, Yellowstone National Park, Belize, Charleston and Tulum. Will also has a passion for cars and motorcycles, whether it’s attending a track day, going for a weekend drive, or watching Formula 1 cheering on his favorite team.

JASON MAIN

Jason has had a passion for finance and helping people for as long as he can remember. His grandfather, a blue-collar business owner, taught him the value of money at a very young age. After seeing the impact bad financial advice had on family members, Jason decided to pursue a career as an advisor to help clients become financially prepared for the future.

He started his career as a financial advisor after graduating from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Jason spent the first three years of his career at a small boutique firm, focusing on fee-based comprehensive planning. He went on to work at JPMorgan Chase and Huntington National Bank, where he spent 15 years advising high net worth clients.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys traveling, being involved in his three children’s extracurricular activities and enjoying the outdoors with them, and playing with the family’s three Great Danes.

DAYNE LAWYER

Dayne was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She lives there with her husband Jason, her daughter Genevieve, and her son Lennon. Dayne enjoys using her time and resources within the community. She volunteers with the local Salvation Army, Open Door Mission, and Project Harmony.

Dayne comes to MDRN with over 8 years of financial experience. Her vast knowledge of retirement planning and tax planning is valuable when supporting customers in reaching their financial goals. She utilizes a holistic approach to planning to ensure her client’s financial strategy works well with other aspects of their life. DREW KINDER, CFP

As a CFP designated financial advisor, Drew is held to the fiduciary standard of acting in the client’s best interest. He helps ensure retirees do not run out of money by protecting and growing their wealth through prudent investing planning. He also analyzes the client’s financial picture to develop a plan to achieve their short and long term goals. His favorite part of being a financial advisor is witnessing the positive impact he has on the lives of his clients.
Drew graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management with a minor in Economics in 2013. He then went on to get his Master in Business Administration and Master of Industrial and Labor Relations in 2015. In 2021 he earned his CFP designation and in 2022 earned his ChFC designation to further demonstrate his dedication to comprehensive financial planning. Education never stops however, as staying informed about legislative changes and market trends is essential to providing clarity to his clients.

In his spare time, Drew enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, kayaking, trying new restaurants, cheering on his West Virginia Mountaineers and visiting his family back in Charleston, West Virginia. He now resides in Tampa, Florida with his girlfriend Carolina and their two dogs, Ellie and Theo.

KAYLEE VANGERPEN

Kaylee Vangerpen has more than a decade of experience in financial services and serves as MDRN Capital’s subject matter expert on RIA operations. As the leader of the operations team, she oversees the systems and processes that keep the firm running smoothly, ensuring advisors have the resources they need to serve clients effectively. Known for her ability to create structure and solve problems, Kaylee plays a key role in connecting people, processes, and outcomes across the firm.

Outside of MDRN, Kaylee is a proud mom to her daughters, Madyson and MaKynna. She can often be found at the cheer gym, volleyball court, or softball field, cheering them on and spending time with family.

MICHAEL MACPHERSON

With more than two decades of coaching and leadership experience in the financial services industry, Michael “Mac” MacPherson brings a wealth of knowledge and a client-first mindset to the MDRN team. Prior to joining MDRN, Mac served as a Regional Director for Consumer and Business Banking in West Michigan, where he led over 100 branches and specialized in delivering comprehensive financial solutions across investments, insurance, and lending for both individuals and businesses.

Mac holds a degree in Business Management from Hope College and has completed the Executive Banking Program through the Consumer Bankers Association. His deep expertise spans key areas such as accounting and taxation, economics, estate planning, income strategies, and investment management—skills he draws on daily to support both advisors and clients in achieving long-term financial security.

At MDRN, Mac plays a pivotal role in advisor development and strategic planning. He works closely with advisors to build customized, forward-looking retirement plans that prioritize market protection, stable income, cost efficiency, and seamless integration of tax, estate, and Medicare planning within MDRN’s holistic approach.

Outside of work, Mac enjoys golfing, fishing, and exploring Michigan’s outdoors with his family.

MIKE AWWAD AAMS

Michael has been in the financial services industry for over 19 years. Michael holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist^SMdesignation. He prides himself on working with individuals to develop financial strategies for retirement and provide advice and guidance that is centered around their specific goals. Michael became a financial advisor because he enjoys helping and serving others. What he loves most about his profession is that he is able to help improve the lives of clients.

Michael cares deeply about serving his community. He is a volunteer firefighter, currently serving as Assistant Chief with his department. Michael also teaches finance related courses as an adjunct professor of finance at the college level.

Michael holds a Master of Science degree in finance from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys the outdoors with his wife and three daughters. He travels extensively throughout the state of Michigan enjoying everything that makes Michigan the Great Lakes state.

With over 19 years of experience working with employees, retirees, and the public, Barbara brings extensive expertise in employee relations, benefits administration, and organizational development to MDRN Capital™. She is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity and engagement while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across the firm.

Barbara began her HR career in the public sector, where she developed and implemented employee benefit programs and led wellness initiatives for Anne Arundel County Government. Her passion for optimizing processes and improving the employee experience continues to drive meaningful impact within MDRN Capital™.

A Notary Public with a strong background in HR systems and compliance, Barbara is committed to aligning strategies with business goals to support sustainable growth and employee success.

Outside of her professional life, Barbara’s world revolves around her two children, Kylie and Michael. She spends most of her time cheering them on or volunteering her time at the football field, lacrosse field and basketball court. She finds joy in being around her family & friends, relaxing at the beach, gardening and spending time with her dog, Luna.

TARA MEANS

With over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, Tara brings expertise in solutioning, investment operations, and technology-driven process optimization. Beginning a career in trading, she developed a deep understanding of domestic and international markets and utilizing multiple trading platforms before transitioning into investment technology and automation.

Passionate about innovation, Tara has played a pivotal role in leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency, with a focus on process automation and Salesforce integration. By streamlining workflows and implementing strategic solutions, she drives greater productivity, accuracy, and scalability across the business.

Tara studied Accounting at the University of Kansas which later led to her career in the financial industry.

Tara is committed to bridging the gap between technology and finance, ensuring that modern solutions support business growth and long-term success.

Outside of her professional life, Tara enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, gardening, bowling, and traveling. She was born and raised in Kansas, spending half a year working and living in London.

ANGELE FOX

Driven by a passion to make finance accessible and supportive for all, Angele Fox has dedicated nearly two decades to helping everyday people plan for secure and meaningful retirements. After beginning her career in client services within the financial sector, Angele saw firsthand the challenges many retirees face in navigating financial complexities without a trusted guide. Inspired to bridge this gap, she pivoted to marketing to make financial planning more approachable and beneficial for individuals focused on family, retirement, and legacy.

Angele studied Communications at Southeastern Louisiana University, where she first found her interest in marketing. Over her career, she has held pivotal roles in marketing, strategic growth, and client experience, working alongside some of the country’s largest advisory firms. Today, as the Marketing Leader at MDRN Capital, she leverages her expertise to cultivate a brand that champions client-focused solutions, ensuring the firm’s messaging and services resonate with those who need them most.
Outside of her professional life, Angele enjoys spending time with family, exploring new beaches, and reading. Born and raised in New Orleans, she currently resides in Kansas.

ERIC KELEMEN

Eric is an accomplished senior leader with over 18 years of experience in the financial industry. His passion lies in serving clients, especially those approaching retirement. Communication is his differentiating factor, and he witnessed its impact firsthand when his own parents delayed retirement due to the poor communication they received from their planner.

Currently serving as President of Advisory at MDRN Capital, Eric focuses on improving both client and colleague experiences through best-in-class service, communication, and engagement. Previously, as an Innovation Team Leader at Park National Bank, he identified and tested ideas to enhance performance and customer experience.

During his 12-year tenure at Huntington Bank, Eric managed a region of retail branches, emphasizing associate development to better serve clients. His commitment to simplifying recommendations and evaluating scenarios from the client’s perspective drove positive outcomes.

Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Ferris State University. Beyond work, he enjoys family time in Dublin, OH, with his wife Kerry, watching his daughters play soccer and basketball.

JOSH MALY, CMSA®,FPWM™

Josh’s path into finance started in 2000 and wasn’t the typical one. After studying at Buffalo State University (SUNY), he began his career processing mergers and acquisitions for a regional brokerage firm. Within two years he was licensed and working directly with clients, where he quickly recognized a problem: the average retiree wasn’t receiving the same quality of advice as high-net-worth investors. That realization shaped the direction of his career.

Over the past two decades, Josh has served as a financial advisor, director, and executive leader at some of the country’s largest RIAs. Today, as President & Chief Operating Officer of MDRN Capital, he helps lead one of the fastest-growing virtual RIAs in the country. His focus is on building a firm that challenges convention, embraces innovation, and always puts retirees first.

Josh holds both the Financial Planning & Wealth Management (FPWM) Certification and the Capital Markets & Securities Analyst (CMSA) designation from CFI. More importantly, he remains committed to the same principle that guided him from the beginning: ensuring the people who spent their lives building this country get the retirement they deserve.

Aaron Cirksena

After seeing members of his family get bad financial advice in retirement that caused the loss of money and dreams to be put on hold, Aaron devoted his career to helping others avoid this struggle. He focuses on helping people take proper actions before it becomes too late in life to enjoy a full retirement.

Aaron knows that with retirement planning comes the potential for anxiety, as people have concerns about their money lasting the rest of their lives. His goal is to help address those anxieties and to provide planning strategies and options that help them achieve a more comfortable retirement mindset.

Aaron is a 2011 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where he studied economics. Since then, he has devoted his entire career to financial planning, distribution planning and managing client money. He first worked with multiple $1 billion teams at Morgan Stanley and independent firms, and eventually created his own independent services firm in MDRN Capital.

Aaron was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. Away from the office, he enjoys time on the open water, having a beer on a boat with his friends. He also enjoys golf and traveling with his family — including their two bulldogs. Aaron directly credits his success to his wife Dionis.

“I wouldn’t be anywhere without my wife, Dionis, as she is the rock for our whole family,” says Aaron. “Everything that she does for our family is what allows me to do what I do for our clients. My stepson, Camden, and stepdaughter, Ellie, gave me the greatest gift of my life, which is getting to be a father to both of them.”
